SUSTAINABILITY

NoMuda is a combination of the Italian word “No” and the Japanese term “Muda,” meaning “waste.” NoMuda thus stands for “no waste”: no waste generated by fast fashion, the use of polluting materials, or the production of low-value garments.

We are all aware of the impact of human activities on the environment and animals. For this reason, we have chosen to use raw materials sourced from sustainable suppliers.

Our wool is RWS-certified (Responsible Wool Standard), which ensures animal welfare (no stress, malnutrition, pain, etc.), without mulesing and with the preservation of soil health and biodiversity. This certification also guarantees the physical traceability of the wool and monitors each stage from fiber to sale and processing.

Social responsibility and environmental impact are fundamental issues today: that is why we have selected suppliers who share our philosophy and values of sustainability, with a commitment to animal welfare, workers’ well-being, and care for the land.
